Tied in 2

привет, my friend!

Last weekend I woke very early to go on 2 tours, so today I decided to chill and sleep in. I woke up @ 10:30 and cleaned up the house.

I then went to a hockey game between CSKA and Metallurg Novokuznetsk. I got there @ 12:45 (the game started @ 1:00), stood in line for 15 minutes and bought a ticket 7 seats away from the ice for $7.50 -- again SEVEN-DOLLARS-AND-FIFTY-CENTS!!! I took a picture of the other side of the arena -- the two people in white by the guard rail are sitting in the an area equivalent to the one I was sitting in:

The game was awesome: the only other time I'd been to a hockey game was at the Madison Square Garden on the 4th balcony, and being close to the action made a huge difference. Here's a face-off:

Here's a self-taken picture of me during the match:

I asked someone to take this one during one of the intervals:

And here's a picture of the "hooligans" sitting in the bleachers, (tickets costed less than two bucks!):

The game ended 2-2, but it was still fun. I then came back home and watched a good soccer match between CSKA and Spartak Moscow -- the two leaders of the Russian 2006 season. Interestingly, the match also ended tied in 2.

I spent the evening taking a nap, organizing my iPod and watching the US Open semi-finals. Pretty good saturday...
