Commute, commute, commute

привет, my friend!

Today I will write a short post.

Yesterday (Tuesday) was just fine, I went to work on the little van that the company provides for people who don't drive to work. I took the subway to another station, and found my way to the bus stop and found the van thanks to a map drawn by one of my co-workers.

I also found out they have a dry cleaners and a sandwich shop at work, so 2 of my basic needs can be fulfilled within steps from my desk.

In the afternoon I went to see 2 more apartments, but I didn't like any of them. I still like the 3rd one I saw on Monday, and am close to closing the deal with that one. In the evening I went to check out its neighborhood and I really liked it. I also took the subway from the apartment to see how long it would take me to get to work if I lived there. Not bad at all: 7-minute walk to the subway, 18-minute ride on the subway and probably 5 minutes more on the commuter van to the office. It's shorter than my commute to work!

Today and tomorrow I will be traveling to little towns in the outskirts of Moscow, the so-called Golden Ring. More details when I get back.

пока!
